Dog boarding comes in many forms—and surprisingly, much of the industry is not strictly regulated. For discerning dog parents, choosing a facility you trust is essential. At An Tara, we believe boarding should feel safe, calm, and intentionally designed around each dog’s comfort and wellbeing.

We offer two thoughtfully curated boarding options, both centered on what we expect for our own dogs.

All boarding guests must:

• Successfully complete a behavior assessment so they can safely join our daycare group
   
• Be eligible for group daycare participation
   
• Be up to date on required vaccinations
   

This ensures a structured, positive, and safe environment for every dog in our care.

Our Standard Boarding option is ideal for social dogs who enjoy routine, structure, and group interaction.

• Dogs join our daycare program during the day, enjoying supervised play and enrichment
   
• Overnight care begins at 9:00 PM in our daycare room
   
• Dogs rest in a secure, spacious enclosed sleeping area measuring approximately 4 ft × 5 ft
   
• Each space includes a comfortable memory foam bed to support restful, relaxed sleep
   
• Areas are securely closed overnight to ensure calm, safe, and uninterrupted rest
   

This option provides consistency, comfort, and a familiar environment for dogs who settle well in a structured group setting.

Luxury Boarding offers an elevated, home-style experience with added comfort, privacy, and individualized attention.

• Dogs participate in daycare during the day
   
• In the evening, they transition to a quiet room inside our home or room alongside a caregiver, depending on their individual needs
   
• This option emphasizes a true “home-from-home” atmosphere, ideal for dogs who prefer a calmer, more personal nighttime environment
   

Luxury Boarding is designed for dogs who benefit from extra human presence, a relaxed setting, or more individualized nighttime care.

Both Standard and Luxury boarding areas feature:

• TVs set to Dog TV, providing calming visuals and sounds
   
• A consistent evening routine designed to promote relaxation and restful sleep
   

We maintain ultra-hygienic cleaning standards throughout all boarding areas. Each space is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to ensure a fresh, safe, and healthy environment—so you can travel with complete peace of mind.

Please note that holiday rates apply to all services, including boarding, during peak holiday periods.
